The Reluctant Fish Hunter

This piece was an exercise in lighting and in exploring how an environment can influence color.
I learned a great deal from the process, and I consider it one of my most valuable studies.

On the sketch page, the main sketch and the front-view character study were created in Photoshop. The smaller sketch at the top was drawn quickly with pen on paper as an initial idea, which I later developed into the larger sketch below using Rebelle 8.
