Rainbow (Case study)

I found this sketch by Claire Wendling on Pinterest and reinterpreted and studied it in my own style. Eventually, I created a final version of the piece, focusing on a color and lighting study based on the same subject. At the time, my main interest was exploring color and light in a rainy atmosphere.
A little later, I decided to revisit the anatomy and posture of the figure in Claire Wendling’s sketch, using it as inspiration for a new study. This time, I redesigned the same character entirely from imagination and from a different angle (front view). Building on that, I started from scratch to create my own original character—drawing inspiration from the initial sketch but developing a unique design with a personal pose, perspective, hairstyle, and color palette.
