Dragon

For some time now, I’ve been focusing on exploring different color palettes and gaining a deeper understanding of light, color, and contrast.
In this piece, titled Dragon, my goal was to maintain harmony between the light reflections on water, the relatively broad light exposure, and the contrast and shadows — all while using a wide range of colors.
The main challenge I faced was placing these colors side by side without compromising the lighting or the magical atmosphere.
It’s been about two weeks since I created this work. At first, I set it aside as just a color study, but I occasionally returned to it, trying to refine it.
Eventually, despite the complexities in composition, color palette, and lighting, I decided to share the final result with you.
